LARK: A New Opening in Castro
Lark
Lark is a new restaurant and wine bar from Dunya's Coskun Abik and Sertac Yildizhan. The space went through a significant remodel and now has brick walls, concrete floors, and a copper-topped bar.
What's Special About it:
The food has a strong Mediterranean influence (lots of eggplant, lamb and feta). Dishes include hummus with warm lamb chunks and feta calamari to mains like the Lark burger (featuring ground lamb, burrata and oregano). Check out the"Boards and Bites" section of the menu (has charcuterie, cheeses and burrata crostini - perfect for wine).
What Customers Say:
"Food: amazing and rich, me and my wife had the Rib eye steak and kopolo chicken. So yummy! My wife was not sure which plate to eat from, her plate or mine."
What Else to Order:
Butternut squash stuffed gnocchi.
